Things To Do in the Summer Holidays

Looking for things to do with big kids or little ones? Check out this guide to our favourite family activities, stores and food traders to help you entertain kids, the Camden way.

Visit Our Brand New Mural
Artist David Shillinglaw has created a brand new mural celebrating our 50th birthday. Come and see the colourful creation for yourself at The Quay in Camden Market Hawley Wharf, grab a deck chair by the canal and treat yourself to a dish from our global food traders in Water Lane and Waterside Halls Food Courts.
Head to a Free Event
Our Summer Event Series is in full swing until the end of August, and it's all completely free. From weekly kids workshops to musical performances, a Bollywood Festival and open-air Shakespeare, there's so much to enjoy.
All The Fun Of The Fair
The friendly alien gang at Babylon Park have landed in Camden Market Hawley Wharf, with theme park rides, arcade games, fairground activities, soft play and so much more. This underground theme park makes for an exciting day out for little ones and big kids alike. Grown ups - there's also an on-site cafe where you can camp out!
Sail Away, Sail Away, Sail Away
Enjoy Camden, Primrose Hill and Little Venice from a different perspective on a boat ride with the London Waterbus Company. You’ll pass through the best of North London, scoot past London Zoo, and you can choose to start or end your journey in Camden Market’s West Yard. Make sure you leave room for lunch to sample all the street food stalls!
Catch A Movie
Curzon Camden is home to five cosy screens, all nestled under our railway arches. As well as a fully stocked bar for the grown ups, they serve baked treats, popcorn galore and an all-day pizza menu.
Sweet Dreams
Step into the world of sweet dreams at Hans & Gretel, whimsica sweet shop and gelateria with immersive decor and sugary treats you could only dream of.
