Camden Market Music Icons Tour

Camden Market has always been known for its live music venues, record stores, and for being the jewel in the crown of North London’s music scene. We’ve always been home to vinyl hunters, reggae lovers, rockers, punks and musicians. So if you’re looking to take a tour of the market’s most musical spots, you’re in the right place.

STOP 1 | WILD HORSES MUSIC
Starrting off on Camden Lock's Paddock Lane, you'll find vintage vinyl as far as the eye can see at Wild Horses. They have over 30 years of experience, stories and wisdom, so make sure you leave enough time to soak it all in.
STOP 2 | DISC DISCIPLES
Crossing over the cobbles of Camden Lock Place, you'll most likely hear Disc Disciples before you see it at the entrance of Market Hall. Friendly owner Danny is always up for a chat about all things vinyl too!
STOP 3 | CAMDEN LOCK VINYL
Pass along the cobbles from Camden Lock Place towards the canal and you’ll find Camden Lock Vinyl. These guys have been here for years, playing great music from their sound system and displaying their unrivalled selection of the greats, from Bowie to Bob Marley.
STOP 4 | MASSIVE INTERNATIONAL
This incredible little shop is known for pumping out an intoxicating mixtape of reggae music you’ll be hard-pressed not to move to. You'll leave with an armful of records, guaranteed.
STOP 5 | THE CLASH STEPS
Head towards the Stables Market and you'll see some unassuming steps, but walking up them is to tread in the footsteps of rock royalty. The Clash shot their famous album cover here, after recording in their studio just across the yard.
STOP 5 | THE DINGWALL BUILDING
Head back towards the canal to explore Camden institution The Dingwall Building. Now home to Powerhaus, it's remains THE place to go for live shows. Back in the day, they hosted The Clash, The Sex Pistols, The Ramones and Blondie.
